The hotel itself was clean, comfortable beds. The staff were wonderful, BUT, next door is a reception hall I guess and xmas parties were going on each night. People are pretty selfish and ignorant thinking that parking in front of a hotel room on the first floor to go party is okay. The owners/managers should make sure that the hotel guests get to park in the parking spaces before partiers get to park in them. They blocked the drives, at least the second night, they put saw horses out to keep the main drive usable. Sad that a guest can't go to have dinner, and return and be able to park without having to go down and hopefully find a spot near stored boats. And the parking area near the pavilion has 1 row and then 3 cars widths then another double row. The owners need to make sure their hotel room paying guests can get a parking space, not the poor staff. I probably would consider staying there again, if riverfront is booked up.nSadly, a bad experience does overshadow future visits.
