Just right for the weekend
Traveled for a cheer competition.This property is a 2 minute walk to the Convention Center and right next to the Pratt Street House Restaurant/Bar we like to go to with friends.It's not fancy but its clean. The rooms are a tad small and bathrooms are a little outdated but very clean. The hall we were in smelled like weed but it doesn't bother us. Parking is not free but conveniently connected to the hotel.

Website painted a different picture!
I knew that we would be checking in after dinner, and selected this hotel because it said it had a bar/grill onsite. Guess what? It's not open anymore! We were directed to a restaurant around the corner, which was loud and overpriced. This is an older hotel in need of updates. The tub in the bathroom had black streaks on it, and there was obvious water damage in the bathroom. There were no vending machines - just a few items "for sale" by the front desk. I listened to the heater go on and off all night long - very loud! I had to leave before breakfast was served, so I can't comment on that. I do hope that they will update the description of this hotel, as it was misleading.

I loved the staff and the rooms were very clean. I love the whirlpool tubs! I probably wouldn’t stay here as a woman by myself again because the surrounding area wasn’t safe. Crackheads sleeping in front of the garage, running and hopping (literally) around the garage as well. It wasn’t clear how to get from the parking garage to the hotel. I do like that the entrance is locked from 11-7am for safety and so is the garage. The front is well lit but I didn’t see any cameras so I’m not sure if it was safe or not. But the alleyway in front of the hotel is dark and sketchy. All and all this would make a good date night hotel. I wish they had more options for cold breakfast.

From the time we entered, the associate was smiling, friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond remarkable customer service. She eased our worries of getting food, parking and extending our parking after checkout and hold our luggage. Did i say excellent customer service? She was outstanding.
