A relaxing piece of history...
What a gem! It was almost the same price as the chain hotel down the street. Such a beautiful place and so much history! We checked out the museum associated the hotel and just loved learning about it's history. Beautiful woodwork everywhere. Unfortunately, we slept in too late and never got to enjoy the breakfast but found awesome diners close by. Several breweries and restaurants in the area. Never left town. No need. Had our first beef on weck. There was awesome live music on Friday night. Great musicians! It really felt like we stepped back in time. You could almost feel what it was like a hundred years ago. Can't wait to go back and enjoy the food and sitting outdoors in the summer!
