The pillows provided were not sufficiently firm. Soiled towels were provided to us. Upon check-in, we were not provided with comprehensive instructions on how to order room service. Additionally, the telephone in our room was not functional, necessitating the use of my personal mobile phone to contact room service. Despite my initial reluctance to accept a replacement phone, a maintenance staff member arrived approximately 10 minutes later to replace the non-functional phone. The key cards provided did not function properly, requiring us to make an additional trip to the front desk to obtain replacements. We were not informed that our vehicle would be parked at a considerable distance from the hotel, necessitating a lengthy walk. Furthermore, as individuals with allergies and asthma, we were inconvenienced by the close proximity of a smoking area to the main entrance. Additionally, despite being informed that we could pay for parking in cash, the charge was instead added to our room bill. The quality of the food provided was satisfactory. Overall, our experience did not meet the standards typically associated with Hilton and DoubleTree properties.
