We enjoyed our stay at this resort. It’s on the smaller more intimate side, which is what we were looking for. The staff was extremely pleasant and the butler service was a great bonus. Yajahira was in contact daily and checked in with us to see if we needed anything throughout the day. We really enjoyed the swim out room. Having access to a pool at all hours was a great experience. The food was average, although breakfast at the Italian restaurant was fantastic and the Baja fish tacos at the Mexican sea food restaurant were also good. A couple suggestions I have. At the coffee bar, maybe have more options available. As a tea drinker, it was not easy to get a cup outside of meals at the restaurant. And getting a spot at the main pool isn’t easy unless you get out early in the morning. The resort is older, but it is very clean. We were not able to enjoy the beach as the winds were strong and they had red flags on the beach every day, but I don’t fault the resort for this as they don’t control the weather. My favorite part of our visit was getting to go and see the crocodile that spent a lot of her time on the main road in front of the resort (just down a little ways behind a wall). There’s not a lot to do onsite, but If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing vacation, this is the place for you!
