Big bug roach was crawling on the floor in my room. I killed it. I had bed bugs crawling in my bed at an earlier stay. Too many bugs in the rooms at this hotel.

Location was great and room was classic - which was kinda nice! Down hill from there....room temp remained COLD no matter how much I attempted to increase the heat so we were cold the entire night that was the worst!

Stayed here one night. Comfortable bed and pillows, clean room, and equally as close of a walk to the metro station as the other major hotels in the area, so very convenient. The room showed some wear and the bathtub had issues draining. If people are being loud in the hallways you can hear it through the walls. Overall, great stay, very good value, and would stay there again.

The hotel was very quiet and clean. Not much was offered in the way of amenities. We registered as a family of four yet only two sets of towels were left and one bar of soap. When we needed something it was a two step process. The lobby had to be contacted then someone would come to the room. the room was clean but dark. When a custodian was sent, he thought that nothing was wrong. when I told him that I couldn't see to read and the room was in fact dark. My wife concurred. He volunteered to bring a lamp which rectified the situation. I feel that this situation conversation shouldn't have happened. The only parking was a high priced valet service. A municipal lot, at half the price if all the hours were used, existed around the corner but this option was never offered. There was a restaurant and it had a nice menu posted on the board. The waitress informed us that there would only be one breakfast dish offered. Cash was not accepted so I guess there was a credit card surcharge rolled into the price. If this is acceptable, it's a very nice hotel with a vibrant business district within walking distance. It worked for us because we came to visit our nephew and his family and to do some sighseeing in Washington.
