Are stay was from Feb 25th - Mar 2nd 2024. It was a nice hotel for the most part. Staff was friendly. I would like to give a shout out to Federico who greeted us and took care of our luggage. He is a very kind gentlemen. I saw and chatted with him everyday he was working. He made me feel ever so welcome. I left him a butterfly drawning I did and he loved the keep sake. As far as the property it self, it is in need of some updating. During our stay some issues arose (elevator button for my floor stopped working, water pipes burst in lower level corridor), but maintenance took care of. The buffet choices could of been better with more options. I understand people who drink (for free) tend to lose themselves. But the music and the people at bar could be heard from all areas of the hotel in the evening, especially from my room.

Positive: Roberto is a five star man, the ocean view room was beautiful, the resort staff cleans the property of seaweed, provided a safe. Negative: room service took exactly 2.5 hours, no wifi on the top floor, no mini fridge, shower water pressure is weak, television was broken.

The check in process was very long, the food options were very limited, the beds were hard, the birds got out of hand, customer service was touch and go, i did not like that you had to hold a deposit to get a safe and towels. When it was colder during the evening the hot tubs were freezing. The ocean was clean and snorkeling was great right off the beach though.

1-check in can take anywhere from 1-4 hours 2-additional fees for mini fridge and safe. ( be prepared to pay $250 for room safe, pool towels, and $13/day for environmental fee) 3-will not allow outside services in 4-food was the same everyday and very bland 5-no variety of restaurants at resort 6-hot tubs and pool are freezing cold ( ocean was warmer) 7-mattress was hard and needs to be replaced 8- bathroom stank. Toilet was not bolted down 9-rooms are not super clean and very outdated 10- AC was very loud and clanky 11- our group of 7 everyone got food poisoning for 2 days from the buffet 12- a lot of the staff were not friendly and seemed to hate their job
