We only reserved the room for one night. We planned to swim with the Manatee and then return to the room to shower. When we went to start the shower we saw how filthy it was. Hair and dirt in the tub. When we stopped and talked to the person at the front desk, he said this sometimes happens. He said the sewer backs up. There was no excuse for this no matter what I would never stay at this hotel again.

The front desk staff did not even return my greeting when I entered the office to check in, even after I said “hi” first. Plugs in room are all in weird locations (not near bed to charge cell phone, had to move coffee maker to a precarious spot to plug it in, etc. Outdated and mismatched furnishings, ancient mini fridge rusting out at bottom. Ice machine closest to room not working. Smelled cigarette smoke coming through bathroom vent every night. Dog barking in nearby room a couple mornings. Ground floor rooms right next to everyone’s parking spots. The Good things were friendly housekeeping staff, clean affordable washer & dryer, pretty clean room.

The hotel was clean and the room acceptable however, we were up most of the night with unruly neighbors. They argued, yelled, played loud music, talked about guns and fighting. We called the office several times overnight with no resolution. When I checked out, I spoke to the person at the desk who told me they knew about the problem! They had contacted their employer about the issues. Why would you put other guests near a known problem!!?? I was offered no concessions, just a weak apology. I want a refund.

Beds comfortable, clean bedding, fresh towels. My feet were black from dirt on vinyl flooring. I think it gets dusty since we were on 1st floor. Flooring is great tho. Wish they'd give you a coupon for breakfast at Denny's or a discount.
