I verified my reservation for 2 rooms for 3/9/24 - 3/10/24, but when I arrived at 3pm on 3/9/24 to check-in, I was told that they did not have two rooms for me. I had to go to another hotel.

Our experience was SOO bad - we are looking for another hotel for one night when we are set to return to Ft. Lauderdale to fly out. 1) Given room on top floor. Noise all night long as they were using overnight hours to dissemble and remove the air conditioning unit that was lowered to ground level by crane. All night we heard them prepping to removing the unit with banging and unscrewing. Kept us both up. 2) Safety was a big concern. The door did not close - it was out of line and there was overlap of door onto of door jam. It looked like it had been previously busted down by the police. When my husband was finally able to shut it - the front door lock flew off the door revealing the two batteries that work the door. 3) The room was in rough shape. Had it been earlier in the evening we would have requested a change. It smelled of must, there were holes in the walls just simply left with wall spackle exposed, the fixtures (lamps) were all rusty. Upon check out - the front desk manager ACTUALLY told us to report this to Travelocity because they were unable to do anything about it b/c we booked through Travelocity and they were not able to comp us anything. I travel regularly for business and understand sometimes issues are with locations and not “chains” - but please - do yourself a favor and find someplace else. REALLY bad experience. @Travelocity - took pics and have them if you are interested. Might want to vet who you engage to provide services a bit closer.

This place was old and musty, somehow the water didn’t work in most of the rooms “because of a city issue” We paid almost $400 for one night in this dingy room. Clearly, we paid for the location only (close to the port). Hotel Shuttle to the port for 5 of us was $75 - two Ubers were less than $25.
