My wife and I travel and stay in London 5 or 6 times a year and very rarely return to the same hotel. We will definitely be returning to Canopy. The hotel is in a great location, just across the road from Aldgate station. Our room was comfortable and clean, my wife’s first words as she opened her eyes was “this is the most comfortable bed ever” We were on the 10th floor so the room was really quiet despite being close to the lifts. The shower was hot and powerful, no disappointing dribbles here! We will definitely use this hotel again. Breakfast was good too and reasonably priced as hotel breakfasts go.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were kindly and friendly as soon as we walked in and were incredibly greeting. Booking in was smooth and simple and our room was ready early which was a bonus. The room was clean and tidy and immaculate. The hotel all in all was clean and kept to a high standard and I would definitely visit it again. The only downside was that we were really looking forward to sitting in the rooftop bar in the evening to have a view drinks with the view but the £50 minimum spend per head put us off and was a shame as I was really looking forward to seeing it. The hotel was amazing but we couldn't justify spending £100 on drinks after we had already had a meal out.
