Four delightful days in the heart of London
We enjoyed a wonderful four days at the Clermont as part of our 50th Anniversary trip. I had booked a mid-level room but when we checked in we were offered a complimentary upgrade to a suite (thank you Hally). Perhaps the special occasion glow worked some magic. It was an exceptionally comfortable and attractive room. The breakfast buffet was good with ample choice. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for easy access to so many attractions. The tube is not always friendly to the less mobile, so I had looked hard for a hotel within walking distance of the theaters, National Gallery, and other central city attractions. I couldn't have chosen better.

Really useful location for our family trip to the theatre. The hotel failed to tell us there would be a disco in the hotel (1st floor) and that whilst being on the third floor, our children would not be able to sleep due to the volume. We were on the third floor so and having done a few trips, this was truly ridiculous. Staff failed to help so super disappointing. Breakfast was good but be aware…. The bar and restaurant are very small for a hotel this size, so plan ahead.
