Bug issues
I reserved two rooms from February 23 til the 25 for a family get away. The check in process was easy and we checked in our room. One room was for my two kids with two beds. By 9:30 pm my daughter calls my phone and tells me dad we have bugs in our room. I go to room 225 and she showed me the roaches in the bathroom. At this point I didn’t want my kids in a room with roaches and spoke to the night lady about the issue. She said the only room to move them was far away from us in the front. I said that’s far from us. She sent the maintenance guy to come and spray. He did . Saturday morning we all got up and left for the whole day when we got back once again the roaches came out we then switched their rooms. Problem fixed right? No Saturday night. My wife and I were getting ready to take a shower and there you roaches by the counter in our room. At this point I was heated. Spoke to the lady at night and she said she had no room to move us and I could speak to the GM in the morning. We got up and I went to speak to the GM . He did listen and said he would work with me about the issue which he did. I’m grateful for his understanding and fixing amd trying to make it right. We checked out and won’t come back to this hotel. The place was in a good spot close to the highway and they did a few things to remodel but they have to take control of the bug issues. Other than that. It would’ve been a decent stay. I have videos but it won’t let me upload them

The motel is dated and that’s fine, but it was not clean and the mattress and pillows were hard. There were roaches when I turned on lights in am. Was convenient for i75, but I will stay at another exit next time.

An older facility but well maintained. Rooms have few electrical outlets, likely due to the age of the buildings. Constructed when people had few electrical devices. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
