Won’t ever recommend this place
First we went to check in and they told us that they had no rooms and moved us to another hotel. Mind you I booked this 6 months in advance, received no phone call, email or anything to let me know the property had changed. After having a busy 12 hour day we were in no mood to pack up the car again and go somewhere else. Finally after 20 minuites, after supposedly being completely booked we were given our 2 rooms. Beds are horrible can feel every spring in the bed, bathroom was dirty, was NO toilet paper in the room. For such a nice area this place was a dump Lobby was the only nice part. I guess looks can be deceiving

I was not informed until the evening prior that the water was going to be turned off for half the day. The elevator was under construction and the hotel was under constant repair. I wish i had known before check-in. The staff was amazing!!

My husband and I stayed at Ohana Waikiki East by Outrigger for 7nights during our Hawaii vacation. We payed the total price of the room for 7 nights through Expedia when we made the reservation and we payed extra $502.95 for resort fees and parking fees when we checked out. However, I found $222.95 resort fees were double charged on my credit card bill. I have been trying to contact the hotel for correction, but only able to talk to AI computer. After many hours of trying, I ended up talking to a human lady who has a Denver phone number, saying that she could not help me and redirected me back to call Outrigger. I did not mind damp & smelly hotel room. It's an old building so the stiff stairs from the garage to the hotel was acceptable even after my husband fell and bruised his arm. Nevertheless, I'm still trying to contact the Ohana Waikiki East hotel that never answer my phone call.

The Ohana Waikiki East by Outrigger is right in the midst of the mix of Waikiki. The staff, from the Bellhop right through to Housekeeping were always friendly and helpful. The toiletries in the room were wonderfully scented and I will forever associate coconut and lime with the Ohana East! Thanks for a great stay - all will be even better when your renovations is done.
