The property was beautiful, but the service received by multiple staff members was terrible. We had bad experiences at both the pool and at Nobu restaurant. The staff were not accommodating and they made use feel bad when they messed up our order and we asked for them to remake it. The food selection was also very limited. Great spot if you are looking to eat overpriced fish/sushi, but there was barely any Mexican food options, which is what we were looking to enjoy.

Nice stay with some reservations
Beautiful resort. It is very isolated but we had a car rental. Initial check-in was unsatisfactory. We were given a room right next to a wedding reception. The noise was unbearable. Before unpacking I requested a room change. I was told the only free room was five "levels" up. I did not feel that I should be paying extra after having paid for an upgrade already. The concierge/manager refused to help saying that the Hotel was booked but that the following day he would TRY to change our room. It took the whole day to get the room change completed and was not finalized until we warned them that we were leaving for evening dinner. We also had an issue with the water temperature in the shower. Despite asking for hot water, it remained lukewarm. There was a problem with the gym equipment half of the equipment was out of service. Despite all this, it is a lovely Hotel. Unfortunately, if you like areas where you can sit under an umbrella or in the sun without music, you will be disappointed. We were fortunate enough to run across a pool attendant on the second day who offered to turn off the speaker in our area. Why they refused to do this the first day we were there is incomprehensible in a luxury resort such as this. The staff is really exceptional, each and everyone. It was nice to have one or two complimentary appetizers at the pool everyday. We would have appreciated having had seats and umbrellas right on the beach. This was not an option.

As Nobu they could be better
Hotel is far from the center of Cabo which is good and bad, very quiet and peacefull, ideal for relaxation. Prices in hotel restaurants are extremely high, especially the value/money ratio is terrible.
